辛丑回銮与御笔匾额
1901年，《辛丑条约》签订，八国联军正式退出北京。在西安“巡守”一年有余的慈禧太后与光绪皇帝，开始起驾回銮。他们沿着今天陇海铁路的方向，先进入河南，后又在开封渡过黄河，进入河北。之后在正定换乘火车，浩浩荡荡回到北京。回銮路上，两宫“游山玩水”，他们为一些名山大川、名人墓祠、寺庙道观等题写了不少御笔匾额。这些御笔匾额，虽然有“到此一游”的嫌疑，但是在当时的特殊环境下，对安定战后人心，稳定社会秩序，具有积极的作用。

Publishing with BMC Global and Public Health
BMC Global and Public Health is a newly launched selective BMC flagship journal that sits alongside the other BMC flagships (incl. BMC Medicine, BMC Biology, Genome Biology and Genome Medicine). The journal was launched last year and publishes impactful research, key advances and expert opinion in all areas of global and public health. In this session, a brief introduction of the BMC Portfolio will be provided first, followed by details of this new public health journal including our aims and scope, areas of interest, article types we accept, the collaborative editorial model with both in house editors and editorial board members, content we have published and special issues we have opened. There would be a Q&A session after a short presentation. Any question about the new journal or the career as an academic editor is welcomed.
